Ekaitte and Simbi after an English exam
Ekaitte: How was your paper Simbi?
Simbi: It was kind of hard; I didn't knowthe past tense of 'think'. I thought and thought and thought for a long time then finally wrote 'thonk'
Ekaitte: I guess you're right because I wrote thonk after I thought for a while too.
Simbi: ...and what about the past tenseof 'write'?
Ekaitte: I don’t know what I wrote; I think I wrote 'written'
Simbi: That one I didn't even bother. When I saw the next number asking forthe past tense of 'go', I just went out ofthe Exam Hall.
Ekaitte: Me too, when I reached that number I couldn't take it anymore. Those idiots gave us an exam beyond our standard.
