WHY I SPEAK OUT ABOUT THE ELECTION

I do not belong to a party. I am an advocate for positive change that benefits people and the earth. This election carries more critical consequences for every single one of us than we can even fathom at first glance.
A deeper look raises an urgent concern. Today’s GOP Leaders have moved so far to the extreme right, they now only have 2 kinds of policies: cruel and failed.
Let’s take a look at the GOP voting record in Congress.
CRUEL:
~ MORE MONEY for KILLING
~ CUTTING funds that would put people back to work
~ CUTTING Essential Programs that take care of the disabled, sick, wounded, unemployed
~ INVASIVE LAWS against women, gays, and minorities
~ REMOVING PROTECTIONS of the environment
~ BLOCKING clean energy investments
~ CUTTING care for our seniors
~ CUTTING food stamps for the starving
~ BLOCKING JOBS BILLS even for returning veterans
~ MORE MONEY for KILLING
~ CUTTING funds that would put people back to work
~ CUTTING Essential Programs that take care of the disabled, sick, wounded, unemployed
~ INVASIVE LAWS against women, gays, and minorities

FAILED:
~ Giving Corporations free reign to pollute and send jobs overseas
~ Giving Corporations free reign to pollute and send jobs overseas
~Bigger Tax Breaks for the Richest 1% removes Revenue from the budget and cripples the economy
~ Trickle-down has never worked. Ever. Rich CEO’s pocket their tax breaks, and do NOT create jobs
~ Corporate welfare to Oil Companies that are already making record profits

How can such a platform possibly succeed? Not only are Romney and Ryan lying their way through the entire campaign about what they WILL do, we’ve already seen the terrible results of what they ARE doing.
So, what about the Democrats? They obviously need to better, but here’s what they are doing or have done:
~ Saved an economy that was completely destroyed
~ Support women’s rights
~ Support gay rights
~ Proposed countless JOBS BILLS
~ Reduced Military Spending
~ Proposed tax cut to help middle class and all workers
~ Invested in Clean Energy
~ Increased education, roads, schools, hospitals
~ Support all worker protections
~ Support PELL Grants for students
~ Working to end subsidies for Big Oil
~ Working to end tax breaks for the richest 1%
~ Support family health services
~ Support Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security
~ Support the Environmental Protection Agency and its mission
~ Saved an economy that was completely destroyed
~ Support women’s rights
~ Support gay rights
~ Proposed countless JOBS BILLS

Our RESPONSIBILITY on Nov 6th could NOT BE MORE CLEAR. Evict the GOP from Congress, and not allow a Romney/Ryan White House. We’ve already seen their CRUEL & FAILED Policies.
