WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM LATIN AMERICA'S JOB GROWTH.
Did you know: 35 million new jobs were created in Latin America over the last few years, setting the region apart from the rest of the world. Something we can all learn from:
And we get resources pass them oh.
The things they worked on were simply:
1. Education (They now spend an average of 3 more years in school than they did previously).
2. Gender Equality (More women were absorbed into the workforce).
3. Reduction in income inequality (They tried to reduce the gap between the richest and poorest members of the society; by using income redistribution methods i.e. taxes for the rich and increased income and services for the poor).
4. This one is personal: I am sure they could not achieve this without good infrastructure to back such growth up and of course peace.
If only our own leaders will listen, watch and learn.
